So here’s one of my favorite places for lunch in Paris (especially on a rainy day). Breizh Cafe in the Marais, on my favorite street Rue Vielle due Temple.
It’s a Breton crêperie where they use buckwheat in the savory crêpes instead of white flour. They are so good, beyond your imagination. Eggs, ham, scallops, cheese, asparagus, duck breast and many other super fresh ingredients.
They have a huge selection of ciders to choose from, many with a deep musty flavor that tastes like the cave that they fermented in.
These go especially good with the Coquilles San Jacques (scallops) in my opinion.
Don’t miss out on the oysters! Perfectly briny and served with a mignionette and rustic bread and salty butter. Yum.
Then finish off with a sweet and delicate crêpe… fig and ice cream or apples/caramel/calvados or just banana.
Then go take a walk. Because you’ll need it. How about shopping?
